Movie-making is big business. You put much into the creation of a film and if you’re lucky enough you might have a double investment at the box office since the movie you produced was a huge hit that its target market watched it to their heart’s desire. No wonder that the  number of online film schools that offer film making courses continue to grow every day.

However, lest anyone forgets, film-making is art at its most imaginative form and among the different aspects involved in movie-making it is cinematography that directors, screenwriters, and producers consider to be the most intriguing, most interesting, and most challenging to deliver. So, would you like to learn more about this movie-making aspect, which also happens to be the most difficult to learn among the film making courses being offered in film academies? Well, continue to pore over this article.

What consists cinematography?

The art of moving photography is what is involved in cinematography. It is that aspect of the film when its cinematographer choose what camera gauge to use and lighting effects to employ when filming photographic scenes needed in the movie. This is that part of the film making wherein the creativity and imagination of the people behind the scenes from the director to the cameramen are being tested. In a film academy, cinematography is said to be the hardest to learn among the many film making courses available.

So what truly are the aspects that are involved in cinematography?

The following are what are involved in a film-making process also known as cinematography:

Film Stock – The first step in the film-making process because it is here that the cinematographer choose what film gauge, what film speed, and what film color sensitivity to use when recording the images.

Filters- Whether the cinematographer is using the diffusion filters or color effects filters, the goal is still that these devices are to be used to enhance the mood or dramatic effect of a certain scene in a movie.

Lens- It’s the instrument that the cinematographer attaches to the camera to have a certain look, feel, or effect for a certain film. The ability to choose the right lens to use in shooting a certain scene or scenes in the film can make or break that film.

Aspect Radio and Framing – The image’s aspect is made up of the ratio of an image’s width to its height. This aspect of cinematography is significant as these different ratios have varying aesthetic effects.

Lighting- It’s an essential element in cinematography since it is this aspect that’s involved in exposing images onto the film. It’s this part too that when done well evokes the proper emotions that the director would love to get from the movie’s viewers.

Camera Movement- This is that aspect of cinematography that lets the film audience have the required viewpoint to understand in full the film.

Now you have an idea what cinematography is. Are you interested in learning more from film making courses? You can find all in the Internet.

Egypt Tours – Explore the Wonders of Ancient Egypt

In ancient Egypt religion played a central role in the lives of people. The inhabitants of the region had long worshiped natural objects such as animals, stones, trees, and mountains.

Over a period of time, a colorful pantheon of animal gods emerged as a reflection of the varied wildlife that once thrived in Egypt. Although these gods were initially represented in their natural forms, many were eventually depicted in human form, with only the heads retaining animal features. Amongst these animal deities were the lion-god Mahes, the hippopotamus-goddess Taurit, the crocodile-god Sebek, and the frog-goddess Heqit.

Ancient Egypt’s Gods were invisible to humans, but they were able to ascend to earth and inhabit statues or animals, and through these manifest their will to the priests, who then delivered the messages to ordinary people.

Ancient Egyptian Gods are represented as animals or humans, or half of each. The animal with which the god or goddess is identified often has some qualities that are attached with the divinity. Furthermore, they have different crowns to help characterize them.

Following is a list of some of the more authoritative gods and goddesses in ancient Egyptian religion:

Amun
Amun is the principal ancient Egyptian god of Thebes; he became increasingly important during the New Kingdom, and was in time elevated to the role of a tutelary divinity in various parts of Egypt. He is represented wearing a crown with two long plumes.

Anubis
Anubis is a male divinity with the head of a jackal; he presided over the funerary cult and was believed to have invented the technique of mummification. He accompanied the dead person to the hereafter and was therefore identified with Mercury during the Roman period.

Aten
Aten is the solar disc, and the source of life and heat. He is first mentioned as a divinity under Amenhotep III. However, it was during the rule of Amenhotep IV – Akhenaten – that his cult, primarily instituted to counter the authority of the priesthood of Amun, was precisely codified and started to become widespread in Egypt. When Akhenaten died the adoration of Aten was suppressed.

Atum
Atum was the primordial solar divinity and the patron of Heliopolis. He was symbolized by the setting sun and was represented as a man wearing a double crown to symbolize his rule over the whole of Egypt.

Hathor
Hathor was the incarnation of the quintessence of femininity, and was widely worshipped in many areas of Egypt. She is represented as a cow, or a woman with cow’s ears.

Horus
Horus was the son of Osiris and Isis. He is often represented as a falcon or a falcon-headed man. He was worshipped in various parts of Egypt and the reigning king was identified with this ancient Egypt god.

Isis
Isis was the wife of Osiris and the mother of Horus. She was widely worshipped throughout the Mediterranean in Roman times. During the pharaonic period she was portrayed as a woman with a throne or a solar disc and two cow’s horns on her head.

Maat
Maat was the ancient egypt goddess of justice and the little girl of Ra. She is shown as a woman wearing an ostrich feather on her head. She represents the principal of order, which inspires the king as he governs the ostrich feather. She also appears as a counterweight to the dead person’s heart on Anubis’s weighing scale when the dead are judged.

Nephthys
Nephthys was the sister and wife of Seth. She was involved with her sister Isis in seeking and remaking the dismembered body of Osiris. She is represented as a woman with her own name in hieroglyphs on her head.

Osiris
The ancient Egypt god Osiris was the brother and husband of Isis. He was born of the union between the sky goddess Nut and the earth god Geb. He became king of Egypt and was then killed by his brother Seth. He was worshipped as the king of the dead and represented as a mummy and with the Atef, a white crown with two ostrich plumes.

Ra
Ra was the sun god and was mainly worshipped at Heliopolis. He is shown as a man with the head of a falcon crowned with the solar discs.

Selqet
Selqet was a scorpion goddess, and the protector of the king and the boat of the sun since the remotest antiquity. She is shown as a woman with a scorpion on her head.

Seth
Seth was the ancient Egyptian god of darkness, death, the desert and chaos. He killed his brother Osiris.

Are you environmentally consciencous and also want to lessen our dependence on foreign fuel?  Our environment is being damaged more and more each day.  You can get involved in creating a better invironment by making your car cleaner running.  With just a few parts and tools you can change your current vehicle into a water hybrid and save hundreds of dollars on fuel. It is simple to do with Vic Lawson’s Gas4Free program.

With this Gas4Free system you will immediately enjoy huge savings on gas, help the environment and keep your car’s engine cleaner and in better running condition.

This is a two book set, in the first one he gives you all the information you need to learn how to convert your car to use water as fuel using water hybrid engine technology. You will be given the knowledge, in easy to understand language, to construct your own Gas4Free fuel system for your vehicle.

You will be given tips on how to save even more money with this hydrogen on-demand system in the second book.  These secrets reveal techniques to optimize this system for your particular make and model car.  This ensures you save as much on fuel as possible.

These are both well written, easy to understand books.  Vic Lawson’s customers are now realizing huge fuel savings after following his guidlines and putting this system in their cars. Together these books give you everything you need, but by reading one of these books without the other, you won’t get you the maximum fuel saving benefits.

By visiting the Gas 4 Free website you can read several testimonials like these: One satisfied customer of “Gas 4 Free” claims he has increased his mileage by 60%.  Another customer, who uses her vehicle for deliveries, has increased her clients by using it as a selling point.  She now advertises her business as eco-friendly with her water hybrid engine. Another man reveals how he was able to build the system easily.  He relates how he was able to put it in in just under three hours.

Barely a quart of readily available water is needed that costs little or nothing.  Why spend money on one of the latest, and may we say expensive, hybrid cars when all you have to do is attach this water-hydrogen system to your engine?

By purchasing some easy to find parts with a few tools you probably already have, you can build this Gas4Free system. You won’t have to do any alterations to your engine. Just fill this simple device with plain water and start your car, the electricity from your car will begin producing HHO gas (Hydrogen + Oxygen).

You may be thinking about how safe hydorgen power is. Gas4Free was designed with your safety in mind.  Hydrogen gas can be dangerous when stored under high pressure as well as the fact that HHO is not pure hydrogen gas.  The finished product has extra oxygen making it very safe. With more capability and soundness than regular gas engines the hydrogen-on-demand system makes for greater stability.

This system requires very little maintenance and takes up little engine space. The Gas4Free device is less than 5 inches wide and 6 inches tall. The size allows it to fit easily into most cars and ideally placed near the washer fluid, battery or in front of the radiator.  As often as you refill the water container, which may be as little as once a month, you check on the system.

Vic Lawson wants you to self assured and as satisfied as his other clients were after purchasing his Gas4Free System.  He has strived to create a manual that is informative as well as to understand and is so confident he has done this he wants you to receive a 100% refund if you are not happy.  Nothing is hidden or complicated.

Angel Wings Tattoos

Approved by:

Tattoos are very personal and individual. They hold different meanings for everyone and normally have a lot of thought put into them. (unless its a drunken mistake and you can’t remember having it at all – not advisable!)

Tattoo designs for women are going to be quite different from a tattoo a man would probably choose.  Angel wings tattoos,
flower tattoos and cross tattoos are popular for women, small tattoos seem to be chosen over larger ones.  Butterfly tattoos are ever the favourite.

Arm tattoo design, shoulder arm tattoos and tattoo sleeve designs are very popular as are tribal arm tattoos with men. Shoulder tribal tattoos are very effective especially on a well toned body!

You can create your own or choose from the designs on offer at the tattoo parlour . Talk to your tattoo artist  beforehand concerning your tattoo of choice whether it be a customized piece you are after, a tribal tattoo, a celtic tattoo or a dragon tattoo. If you want a tattoo of two different things eg a flower with a snake wrapped around it find separate pictures and ask the tattooist to make an unique tattoo design for you based on the pictures, don’t copy someone else – have a unique tattoo. They are artists and every artist wants to show off their unique designs .

What is your job and what social circles you mix in. You may want to show your tattoo to the world but something like a lower back tattoo or an ankle tattoo could be easily covered up if necessary.

If you have a design is it possible to see what it looks like on your body first, you may well decide to have it elsewhere or not at all!  You could choose to have a fake tattoo. The first thing people tend do when they enter a tattoo shop is to go to all the flash on the walls or in the books, instead of the artist’s personal portfolio. You may not find what you’re looking for in a tattoo in the portfolio, but it will definitely help you decide if you might want to be trying to find the exit door! And don’t be swayed by pretty pictures. Take a close look especially fine detail.

Its an idea to scrutinize the line work. The lines should be smooth and straight Do the circles look like circles? Is the coloring bright and distinctive? Are the colours blended well to create even forms of shading, dimension, and depth?

Each artist works at his/her own pace.  Color, detail area of body coverage all determines how long a tattoo can take.

Large areas of the body normally are done in sessions.  Normally the tattooist will line it and wait for a period of time, maybe a week , when it will be nearly healed .  This isn’t always the case and it depends on individual body metabolism and aftercare on your part .

A good tattoo artist may not  generally tattoo on the same patch in consecutive days as this can affect the quality of the result .

All these are things to consider. Keep in mind that photos can be stolen from other artists . If you have the time to spend, stay and watch the artist you are considering at work.  If your tattoo is very detailed make sure that your chosen tattooist is capable of  “fine lines”.

Make sure that they can do tattoos with with a lot of detail involved . With tattoos that involve writing this is also really important to the finished  article . You do not want any names to fade or the tattoo to “bleed” in years to come so that the tattoo becomes unreadable . Don’t be shy to ask questions! Ask to see examples of the kind of tattoo you want.

Tattoo pain. Do Tattoos Hurt ? Yes – in varying degrees depending on where you have it.  Trust your instincts – not sure – leave it until you are!

Canadian Hip Hop History

Approved by:

Though not usually recognized as a mecca of good hip hop music, there’s been a recent boom during the past few years of highly proficient and recognizable Canadian hiphop artists. The hip hop scene first hit Canada in the 1980s. Rock music was the present category at the time and hip hop had a suppressed beginning. It remained an underground phenomenon till the 21st century.

In 2k, the CRTC awarded an FM station to Milestone Radio. This same year. HipHopCanada.com was also launched, becoming Canada’s biggest rap and hip-hop website publications. The CBC also created a television series called Drop the Beat. The entire series was devoted the hip-hop music as well as the existing cutlure. A year later Canada got its first urban music radio station, Flow 93.5 which soon started a trend in other cities. This permitted for a huge outlet for Canadian hiphop artists. This spawned an entire slew of mainstream hip-hop artists from Canada like Drake, OK Cobra, Classified, Buck 65, Shad, Kardinal Offishall, and others. The advent of satellite radio was also a blessing. The satellite radio network Bande created a compilation album called 93 tours which featured unsigned hiphop artists from Quebec.

As years passed lots of the radio pioneers such as Flow 93.5 changed formats. They no longer bill themselves as pure urban stations but have branched out to more up to date classes of music. The Canadian hip hop scene to this day is still struggling despite some widely known artists gaining notability. Radio stations are focusing their efforts on artists with more mainstream and crossover appeal, which makes hot hip-hop artists’ probabilities of recognition even slimmer. This in some measure has to do with the far smaller black community that is in Canada. An indie hip hop artist cannot solely depend on the black community for support but must branch out and find crossover appeal so as to launch a successful career.

There also are stereotypes at play that makes it difficult for struggling hip-hop artists. Canada, to many is viewed as the land of snow and igloos. Not the troublesome, street toughened image many American hip hop artists enjoy. The first time a Canadian hip hop artists made it huge in the U. S. was Kardinal Offishall’s 2008 release of ‘Dangerous’ in partnership with American rap star Akon. Arguably famous Canadian hip-hop artist Drake reached the number 2 spot on the hot 100 with is single “Best I Ever Had”. This has been the most notable single for a Canadian artist in the united states so far.

The Canadian hip hope scene still has an up hill battle but has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. Hopefully, with the continued success of artists such as Drake and Kardinal Offishall, unsigned hip hop artists will have an improved chance of launching a successful career.
