For men, hair is one of the attributes that should exude manliness. Hence, hair is considered as one of men’s features that defines youthfulness, strength and virility. In the conventional era, hair has been associated with a man’s status in the society. The thicker and healthier their hair, the more confident they feel about themselves. So, for a guy like you, having dandruffs is a big no-no.

Head and Shoulders, a shampoo company under the umbrella of Procter and Gamble, Inc. conducted a survey and found out that 29 percent of male indeed worry about dandruff. To define dandruff, this is a common scalp problem that has symptoms like dry or oily flaking scalps. This is a very disturbing and common problem that annoys and troubles men. Nevertheless, there’s no known cure for this so far. 

Dandruff is one of the contributing factors that lead to a man’s wounded self esteem. No matter how nice your dress shirt is, it won’t build your confidence with your snowy shoulders. And if you’re one of those unfortunate few who suffer from this itchy and annoying condition, we can’t really recommend the best shampoo for your scalp’s unique chemistry. But, we can absolutely give you pieces of advice and suggestions when it comes to dressing up to camouflage that tiny white flakes on your shoulders and spare you from embarrassment.

As much as possible, avoid wearing solids or plain custom dress shirts, especially those with darker shades.  On black mens dressshirts , most especially, your shoulders would make a good setting for a winter season; with every scratch on your hair would be more piles of snow-like flakes on your shoulders. For several occurrences on dandruff, opt for dress shirts with tiny check designs, most preferably those with white. Checks would create an illusion that would hide the dandruff within the checked patterns and make dandruff look like they are part of these patterns. With a single glance, people won’t really notice the problem. This trick will also give you a bit of confidence.

Indeed, with the help of fashion, you can actually hide your dandruff with clothes. However, fashion isn’t just everything. Camouflaging may partially help cover the problem, but this won’t really solve the entire grooming problem. Hence, you should always take into consideration that in looking your best, grooming should come first before fashion.
