As election day draws near, there is a growing sense of wrath that is growing with US voters . It’s a feel that has grown due to the last few years of a frightful economy. And with unemployment rates staying steady at over 9.5% for over 14 months now, the voter rage is surging . Check out this clip from Fox News all about elector disugst from Bill O’Reilley’s Talking Points segment .
What is amazing to me in this video is not just the statistics , but the fact that people are so upset with the present regime that they would outlash at the president at a speech in a park . “You’re a liar!” was screamed from a disappointed American as many people booed him and forced him to exit . The statistics from the video above show that 43% of American voters are very wild and another 20% are somewhat angry. That is an majority of 63% of Americans who are not happy with the government in Washington. This is a horrible stastics for the incumbant Democrats in office . Come November, they know that Americans across the country will speak out and vote for change .
Though, I reckon O’Reilley astutely points out that even the Republicans will gain ground from the coming elections , they can’t feel safe either. They need to get to work . Both parties do not hold the trust of the American people right now . The poor economy is not enough for voters to not be angry . This is a huge reason why the Tea Party has gained so much momentum . Tea Party candidates offer something different, and anything different than the present, can’t be worse. At least, that’s the hope . Americans are fed up with outrageous spending, high unemployment , jobs being lost to other countries and illegal Americans and the deficit that looms so large .
With all of voter angst that is so high right now, I wonder if any politician can dig us out of this mess . Yes, most Americans have short memories, but people turning on Obama is surprising. He had so much momentum after the inauguration . Even former soldiers and military vets can lose their trust quickly . It doesn’t matter if you have an encompassing armed forces resume or if you wear military rings on your fingers, people still may not trust you. Take Senator McCain for example . The man was a P.O.W., and after several years in congress, he obviously has alternative motives . He could wear his custom military rings all day long and people still talk about his rigidness and that he can’t be trusted .
Many voters are pissed off . They need to see jobs being created . Until affairs get changed around, and that may not happen any time soon, America may see a revolving door of politicians in and out of Washington . In my baseborn opinion, Americans need to take a long look in the mirror . We need to become innovators again . We need to take over the jobs we’ve been to lazy to do . We need to spend less, save more, and elect politicians who believe the same thing .
