Codina Partners, a Coral Gables-based real estate firm led by Armando Codina, was selected by Doral City Council to design and build a new 3 story, 60,000 square-foot Doral City Hall Building.

Armando Codina, C.E.O. of Codina Partners stated that, “Codina Partners is honored to have CM Doral selected as the developer of choice for the new Doral City Hall”. Armando further said that he is ad has been committed to Doral city as proven by his work on many landmark projects in the area and that he looks forward to beginning the construction of the new Doral City Hall.”

The $21 million Doral City Hall project will be LEED Silver certified and will be built on a 1.8-acre site close to Northwest 53rd Terrace and 84th Avenue. The City Hall plan will include a 250 space parking lot. The current 30,000 square-foot Doral City Hall is not owned by the City.

“This City Hall will be a state-of-the art building that will meet the needs of our growing community,” said City of Doral Mayor Juan Carlos Bermudez. Everyone involved in the project can’t wait to get started.”  According to Helen Poleo, Doral’s public information coordinator, the required rules for the development that were given by the city during a series of studies had already been met.

In the passed 20 years, Armando Codina has developed over 7 million square feet of properties, including the the Beacon Center, and many other real estate development ventures. He is also involved in developing Downtown Doral, a 120- acre mixed-use project located on both sides of Northwest 53rd Street between Northwest 87th Avenue and Northwest 79th Avenue.
