How to Build A Scrapbook

Scrapbooking, using  Cricuit,  continues to be a popular hobby for many reasons . But, let’s start by asking you this question. Do you know anyone, (we mean ANYONE!) that does not have a scrapbook. Think about it…it shouldn’t take too long. Ah-ha! That’s our point !

I have tried to find someone (anyone) that does not have a scrapbook in their home . We could not! That concept is interesting in itself, if you think about it. Why is that? Creating a scrapbook is almost an instinctive thing to do…especially for parents.

Childrens parents just love to develop scrapbooks of  their children with Cricuit for future years. True, your scrapbook may not be professional prepared. It may not include fancy tags, borders, design lines, etc. But, it doesn’t really matter! And that is part of the beauty of making scrapbooks. There are no rules !

Now a days parents have much better choices when it comes to creating amean looking scrapbook . Have you been to a scrapboostore lately? Buying scrapbooking supplies at your local scrapbook store can be fun. But it can also be overwhelming, at times. Don’t be intimidated. Consult with the store associates. They will guide you in the rightway, but if you had a Cricuit, it will practilly run itself  .

Presenting this “treasured memory” to your friend/family member can give you a tremendous sense of pride and satisfaction . In some cases, it may even be therapeutic, such as preserving the memory of a lost loved-one, who has passed on. Scrapbooking will be chreashed by anyone, which is a large reason for its  popularity. By People of all ages!

Your scrapbook will tell its own story . Be creative and help it along. Include relative photographs with descriptive captions. Highlight important scrapbook pagesD with a fancy border or design lines. Keep the original concept of your scrapbook in focus, while trying to avoid unnecessary clutter. Test several page layouts before making your final decision. All of these concepts will help clarify your topic…your story !
