I’ve got a tiny tip that the ladies keep from us guys: women, including very beautiful women, prefer to be contacted by a surefooted and interesting man.  Is that surprising to you? It’s just fact. Women of all ages seek “confident” and “interesting” much more than looks. That’s true for online dating, in addition to dating in your brick and mortar world.

Wouldn’t it be awesome to have the ladies reaching out to you instead of you having to take care of everything? If you write a great profile that stands out in the crowd, it will happen.

Never forget: “confident” and “interesting” – and that does not mean being a jerk. It’s critical that your profile lets people know that you have people you love, and that you are passionately interested in a variety of things – not JUST sports.

Let’s get back to what we’re talking about: internet dating. Once you are a part of an online dating site, you will realize that there are a lot more men than women. You will also discover that men are much more inclined to browse profiles and make first contact than gals.  Yes, we’re living in  a woman’s world – as always.  It’s “traditional” for males to make the first pass.  It always has been and it always will be. Some things just stay the same. That’s why your profile and picture are so important.

Another thing about that all-important profile – please don’t start it with, “I’m the man your old lady warned you about”. You will have just shot yourself in the foot with that line.  Another line to never use is, “I could be the man of your dreams”.  The lady HOPES you are, but she will decide for herself – so don’t try to fool her. Remember: radiate “confident” and “interesting” and you will find that woman you have been searching for. She might also find you.
