Exposed brick walls will never become worn out in my book. I see this room any my heart skips a beat. This is such a wonderful space in my thoughts ! Before I get into the room, let me tell you the details. This space was designed by a normal human. No fancy shmancy designer….but obviously some one that has an eye for designs . They posed this question concerning their room: “The condo is inside an old factory with lots of great character (12′ ceilings, brick walls, steel shutters on some windows, etc…. Although small (only 690 sq ft, I’m pleased with how it turned out. I tried to go for a “loft-ish” look while not going too modern. Overall I’m happy, but I think it might be a little too sterile. Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.”
So here are my opinions . As you already learned , I love it. I just like loft spaces in general. You don’t have to work as hard in places like this that already have so much character. And exposed brick walls are pretty much the best things in the world . They can stand on their own as a piece of art. They provide for so much contrast so easily ! All that said , I do have some P comments on the room over all. It is a tiny bit cold . I think adding in some more warm colors would make a big difference. Maybe some yellows or trade the curtains out for some light cream flowing curtains . I also do not love that the chairs are the same color as the brick. Other than that, I really do like the design . What do you think? Let me know your thoughts on this loft space designed by someone like you!
While you’re thinking about it, take a peek at a house on College Station Real Estate or Hutto Homes .
