Looking for Halloween ideas? Orlando is a really great option if you’re looking to make this fall holiday truly memorable this year. Spend your vacation visiting some of the finest amusement parks that are filled with Halloween ideas and games that you and your kids can enjoy.
This season SeaWorld has a few tricks up their sleeve; your kids can experience a unique and non-terrifying environment by following maps to 15 different “candy” stations throughout the park and gather as many delicious treats as possible. There’s this event they call “Spooktacular” where you can meet all sorts of amazing and exciting sea creatures like sea horses and dolphins. Dance to the beat of a different drum, along side ice witches, break dancers with roller skates all while playing plenty of interactive Halloween games and listening to the music of a rockin DJ. Your family will stay entertained for hours watching the fluorescent flamingos and all the amazing tropical fish.
Another can’t-miss attraction at the park will be our old faithful friends from Sesame Street who will be counting down Halloween with the likes of Elmo and Count Von Count. There will even be a special guest appearance from the Gummy Worm Wanda. You may even get a chance encounter with Wanda when she is raoming the streets which will be such a treat for your little ones. Of course, make sure your kids have a fun and comfortable Halloween costume and you might as well wear one too; you’re on vacation!
Of course, in Orlando, we all think of Disney World and the good news is that they will be getting in on the Halloween celebration too. They’ll also be offering a child-friendly spooky Halloween. Join Mickey on his spookiest holiday party up to date where your kids can go trick-or-treat around the Magic Kingdom and have the pleasure of meeting world famous Disney characters. To end the night, at the conclusion of Mickey’s party, it will all end with a bang with an amazing fireworks display and a special holiday parade. Halloween gifts and shopping options are also available at Mickey’s and other stores around the park for family souvenirs. There are many special events which your ticket purchase will give you access to; yearly-pass holders are eligible for discounts and anyone can get certain deals for purchasing tickets by a certain date.
Undoubtedly, the place in Orlando for a truly “terrifying” Halloween experience is Universal Studios. This is a world famous theme park event that will bring in even the most die hard horror fans from all over the globe to have their thirst for “SCARY” satisfied. The ‘Horror’ factor will shine through when you visit both the haunted houses and the ‘horror night’ mazes. You’ll be equally pleased by either of these options for fun. Among the other scary places; Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure and the famous ‘Intense’ scare zones are definitely a ‘MUST CREEP’. Universal Studios promises to deliver the scariest Halloween season that will even make their past years seem juvenile. Use caution before bringing children as Universal Studios even recommends on its websites that some material in Horror Nights may be too explicit for the younger ones.
Orlando is the place to be this year whether you are after a thrill seeking adventure or a not-too-scary tour of Disney with your little ones. While you’re in Orlando, there are many choices for lodging accommodations, thousands of beautiful hotels, and hundreds of resorts such as The Fountains, and other Bluegreen resorts. Get really SPOOKED OUT this year and bring the kids to the Orlando sun.
